The membership and staff at Secession have been very supportive of and generous to the LeVeen-Roach Scholarship Fund. Although there have been a number of special events to help raise money, the backbone of the Fund has been individual gifts.
The LeVeen Roach Scholarship Fund is a South Carolina corporation managed by a board of trustees, and its status is approved by the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit. Gifts and contributions are motivated by the same spirit that founded the LeVeen-Roach Scholarship Fund, the memories of two friends and a desire to give something of lasting value to the Beaufort-area community. Today, there are four gift levels representing the Fund's membership categories:
